Soft & Savory Soy Marinaded Eggs
Sweet, savory, and perfectly marinated. These Korean Marinaded Eggs are an easy way to elevate any meal—soft, flavorful, and packed with umami goodness!
Ingredients
- For boiling eggs:
1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp vinegar
For marinade:

1/2 cup soy sauce
-
1/2 cup water
-
1/4 cup honey
-
1/4 small white onion, sliced
-
1 green onion stalk, chopped
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 Thai chili peppers
-
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions

In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt and vinegar.

Reduce heat to a low simmer (rolling boil) and carefully add eggs. Boil for 6 minutes.

Remove eggs and place in an ice bath for 10 minutes.

Gently crack eggs from the bottom (wide end) with a spoon and peel.

Submerge peeled eggs in the marinade mixture.

Refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor.

Storage: Keeps for 3–4 days in the fridge.
