Rich and Spicy Red Salsa
Rich, smoky, and spicy Red Salsa — perfect for tacos, eggs, or dipping!
Ingredients

2 Roma tomatoes

3–4 cloves garlic, peeled

¼ white onion
-
4 California chilis, deseeded
-
5–10 chili arbol, deseeded (for milder spice)

Optional: 1 jalapeño or serrano for extra heat

Salt, to taste

Chicken bouillon, to taste
Instructions

Prep: Peel and deseed chilis as needed. Cut onion into quarters and peel garlic.

Boil: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add tomatoes, garlic, onion, California chilis, and chili arbol. Boil 5–10 minutes, until tomato skin starts to peel.

Blend: Transfer ingredients to a blender. Add optional jalapeño or serrano for extra heat. Season with salt and chicken bouillon to taste. Pulse until you reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Use immediately or store in the fridge for later!
